What the Firkin is a Foeder (pronounced FOOD-er)??
Aging beer in wood vessels can change the flavor, aroma, and appearance. Oak, foeders, spirals, wood blocks and barrels are all different ways that a beer can be aged. Learn about the unique tradition using a foeder and how we've utilized the technique to offer a delicious beer. Each student will sample two distinct beer styles from our foeders. The class includes your first beer in the tasting room as well.
